Noelle’s Gift Donates Water Bottles to Grade 1 Students

The Noelle’s Gift Foundation has distributed water bottles to all Grade 1 students across the district.  The gift includes students in Senior Kindergarten and Grade 2 who are in split classes with Grade 1 students.

“The reason we chose to start this initiative with the Grade 1 students is that it is a significant transition from Kindergarten to Grade 1,” says Lynn Paquette, Chair of the Noelle’s Gift Foundation.  “The initiative was a success in previous years, so we hope to continue to encourage students to utilize water filling stations to promote drinking water as a healthy habit.”

More than 800 water bottles were distributed to students across the St. Clair Catholic district.

Mark Renaud, Principal of Sacred Heart Catholic School in Sarnia organized a team of students to help package and label the water bottles for distribution to elementary schools across Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent.
