Director of Education Deb Crawford has announced changes to the Principal and Vice Principal assignments for September 2020.  The reassignments are due, in part, to the announced retirements of Brendan Deery, Principal of Special Education; Adrien Gagnier, Principal of St. Agnes Catholic School, Chatham; Christine Lambert, Principal of St. Peter Canisius Catholic School, Watford; and Luana Sfalcin, Principal of St. John Fisher Catholic School, Forest.

“The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has greatly benefited from the wisdom and dedication of Brendan, Adrien, Christine and Luana,” says Mrs. Crawford.  “They will be greatly missed and remembered with fondness by our St. Clair Catholic family.”

In addition to the announced retirements, the opening of the new St. Angela Merici Catholic School in Chatham, which will receive students from the St. Agnes, St. Vincent and Our Lady of Fatima communities, has resulted in further changes.

 The Principal and Vice Principal appointments are as follows:

1. Juli Faubert, Principal, Monsignor Uyen Catholic School, Chatham is appointed to Principal, St. Angela Merici Catholic School, Chatham;
   
2. Alishia Thompson is appointed to Vice Principal, St. Angela Merici Catholic School, Chatham and St. Anne Catholic School, Blenheim;
   
3. Nicole Stevens, Principal, St. Vincent Catholic School, Chatham is appointed to Principal, Georges P. Vanier Catholic School, Chatham;
   
4. Americo Todino, Principal, Georges P. Vanier Catholic School, Chatham is appointed to Principal, Monsignor Uyen Catholic School, Chatham;
   
5. Courtney Mellow, Vice Principal, St. Anne Catholic School, Blenheim and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School, Chatham, is appointed to Principal, Sacred Heart Catholic School, Port Lambton;
   
6. Derek Morrison, Principal, Sacred Heart Catholic School, Port Lambton is appointed to Principal, St. John Fisher Catholic School, Forest;
   
7. Carrie Webb Coene is appointed as Vice Principal at St. Joseph Catholic School, Corunna and St. Matthew Catholic School, Sarnia;
   
8. Kelly VanBoxtel, Principal of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School, Chatham is appointed Principal of St. Michael Catholic School, Ridgetown;
   
9. Frank Torti, Vice Principal of St. Matthew Catholic School, Sarnia and St. Joseph Catholic School, Corunna is appointed Principal of St. Peter Canisius Catholic School, Watford.
   
10. Jennifer Morrow, Principal of St. Michael Catholic School, Ridgetown is appointed Principal of Special Education.
