The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is pleased to announce that Ridge K.I.D.S. Daycare will be the childcare provider at the new St. Angela Merici Catholic School.

“We are pleased to have been selected as the child care provider for this beautiful new school,” says Sue Jennings, Director of Ridge K.I.D.S. Daycare.  “We have an excellent partnership with St. Clair Catholic and are looking forward to serving the needs of this new community.”

“I want to thank the Ontario government for providing the funding which has made this school and this child care facility possible,” says Deb Crawford, Director of Education.  “These are exciting times as our plans to re-envision Catholic education in Chatham begin to take shape.”

“The Ontario government has dedicated funding for the expansion of new child care spaces throughout the province and is committed to improving access to affordable, high quality child care,” says Kelly Emery, Director, Child Care and Early Years for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.  “We are fortunate to have these 33 additional child care spaces at St. Angela Merici Catholic School, which will assist with our current waitlist.”

“I know that our Board has a long-standing association with both the Municipality and Ridge K.I.D.S. Daycare,” says Juli Faubert, Principal of St. Angela Merici Catholic School.  “We look forward to working with them to support children and families in Chatham-Kent.”

Ridge K.I.D.S. will operate a fully licensed child care program for Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers, along with an Extended Day program for Kindergarten children and a Before and After program for students in Grade 1 and higher.
