Next week, St. Clair Catholic will be meeting with the Ontario Ministry of Education to share our September Ready safe return to school plan. We expect to have a decision from the Ministry during the first week of August regarding the model for opening schools in September.
In the meantime, we know that many people are feeling anxious about the return to school. We understand. That’s why mental health, right along with health and safety, are our highest priorities in planning for the safe return to school. And mental health isn’t just a priority for September. We are here for you now.
Throughout the summer, we have a team of mental health professionals who are available and ready to support you and your family. Students and parents/guardians who are fearful and apprehensive about the future can speak confidentially to our team of St. Clair Catholic counsellors.
You can do this in two ways. You can reach out directly to Chris Preece, our Mental Health Lead at chris.preece@st-clair.net. Or you can self refer by completing an online form at https://forms.gle/veenTPTaTx6cj9i27
You will get a response within 72 hours.
