The significant impact of the current COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the crucial importance of quality health care and has made visible the sacrifice of those who serve in hospitals and other health care fields.  In our province and country, it was the goodness and sacrifice of Religious Sisters, other Religious orders and lay people who helped build the foundation of the high quality health care we enjoy today.  Then and now, those who serve in Catholic health care live the life-saving mission of our church.

In partnership with the Catholic Health Association of Ontario, we recognize Catholic Health Care Week, October 4 – 10 and pay tribute to the men and women who serve with distinction in this important vocation.
