Catholic Schools Support Hayden’s Hope Foundation

Students and staff at St. Elizabeth, Holy Family and Christ The King Catholic schools in Wallaceburg and Sacred Heart in Port Lambton raised $1,202 for the Hayden’s Hope Foundation.  The foundation is a small not-for-profit organization which supports families through their child’s cancer journey.  It’s named in honour of a local child who passed away just one year ago.

Students at St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Wallaceburg participate in ‘pyjama day’ in support of the Hayden’s Hope Foundation.

When Hayden was not in hospital, she enjoyed being at school with friends and taking part in normal childhood activities.  While in hospital, she and her oncology friends spent a lot of time in their pyjamas.  That’s why Hayden’s Hope Foundation hosted a ‘pyjama day’ as a way to help raise funds and awareness about childhood cancer.

Staff and students at the participating schools paid $2 through School Cash Online in support of the Hayden’s Hope Foundation.
