Please join us on Thursday, March 25th from 3:30-4:30pm for our next Speaker Series with Dr. Kimberly Schonert-Reichl. Known as a world renowned expert in the area of social and emotional learning (SEL). Dr. Schonert-Reichl’s research focuses on fostering positive qualities such as empathy, compassion, altruism, and resilience in children and adolescents.
Dr. Schonert-Reichl is currently Chair in Social and Emotional Learning in the Department of Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and has over 30 years of experience as a professor at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Schonert-Reichl ‘s presentation will shed light on her knowledge and experience in this field and will focus on developing social emotional skills we want our children to have. Closed captioning and ASL interpretation will be available during the live stream event.
