Celebrating Our Students
Friday, June 25th and Monday, June 28th
Dear Parents/Guardians of Elementary School Students:
Before the school year ends, we want a chance to meet our students and families one last time … to say so long until September and to wish you a safe and happy summer!
We’re setting aside two days – Friday, June 25th and Monday, June 28th – as ‘transition days.’ Teachers will be providing asynchronous learning opportunities in advance for all elementary students to complete during these two days. Families will be contacted by the school regarding the date/time for you and your children to drive up or walk up for a brief farewell visit. Visiting the school will also be an opportunity for families to:
- Drop off any Board-owned technology that you may have borrowed, including power cords and hot spot devices;
- Drop off any library books, textbooks, or other Board-owned items that may have been borrowed;
- Pick up any personal items/school work your child may have left at the school;
- Pick up any awards or certificates your child may have earned;
- Pick up your child’s report card;
- Pick up any medication that has been provided to the school.
You will be receiving details in the days ahead about exactly how the transition days will be organized at your school. Events may vary from school to school. All events will respect public health guidelines, to ensure the health and safety of students, families and staff.
I hope you have a blessed summer, filled with fun and laughter. We cannot wait to see you in September!
God bless,
Deb Crawford
Director of Education
