St. Clair Catholic wishes a Happy Father’s Day to all our amazing fathers and father figures.  Celebrate this day by wishing Happy Fathers’ Day to your dad, grandfather, and even your priest, as our spiritual fathers, who reflect God’s love among us.  On this special day, we ask for God’s blessings on each and every one of them.  Together, we give thanks to our fathers and father figures and lift them up in our prayers. 

A Prayer for Fathers

God our Father, we give you thanks and praise for fathers young and old.

We pray for young fathers; may they find courage and perseverance to balance work, family, and faith in joy and sacrifice. 

We pray for fathers around the world whose children are lost or suffering; may they know that the God of compassion walks with them in their sorrow.

We pray for men who are not fathers but who mentor and guide us with fatherly love and advice. 

We remember fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memories.

Amen.
