Commencement ceremonies were held on Monday evening, June 28, 2021, for the Ursuline College Chatham Class of 2021. The virtual ceremony included Prayer service and address to the graduates by Principal Ray Power, as well as greetings from Deb Crawford, Director of Education and John Van Heck, Chair of the Board.
The ceremony also included an inspirational message from Class of 2021 Valedictorian Daniel Fraleigh; and stirring words of encouragement from retiring teacher Jim O’Brien and retired UCC principal Sister Patricia Anne Turner.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the graduates on the school’s outdoor stage and conferring upon them the subject awards, scholarships and bursaries that were earned. The program also included a collage of graduates from the grad day celebration earlier in June.
To close the celebration, the UCC staff participated in a clapping out of our 2021 graduates.
“We are extremely proud of the class of 2021 and wish them good health, great success and all the very best for their future,” says Ray Power, Principal of Ursuline College.
