“The First 20 Days of School” is a new resource developed for teachers to use in their classrooms for the first 20 days of the 2021-22 school year. This resource includes social and emotional learning activities that focus on four main areas: self-awareness; body awareness; grounding; naming emotions; and stress management and coping. These evidence-based activities build on one another and aim to promote the mental health and wellbeing of our students as they return to school this fall.
“I am excited about the launch of this tremendous new resource,” says Deb Crawford, Director of Education. “We believe it provides excellent strategies to help our students develop life-long skills that will enable them to excel in both learning and in life!”
