Important Information for Bus Students and their Families

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we continue to deal with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important that each of us follows the health and safety protocols that are in place to help keep our students safe, both at school and on the bus.

It is especially important that our bus students sit only in the seats that have been assigned to them.  By following this simple yet significant safety measure, in the event there is a positive case of COVID-19 on the bus, we are able to limit exposure to the virus to just a few students.  On occasions when students sit in seats other than those assigned to them, public health officials may direct the entire bus to isolate at home; rather than just those students seated in just rows nearest to the confirmed case.

Please remind your child to only sit in her/his assigned seat, both on the way to school and back home every day.  Students in Grades 1 to 12 are also required to wear a mask for the full run.

Thank you for your support of the steps we’re taking to help keep our students and drivers safe.  If you have any questions, please contact Transportation Services at the CKLASS Office here.

Sincerely,
