Shell Sarnia Manufacturing Centre Donates Water Bottles and Fresh Fruit to Students at St. Joseph Catholic School, Corunna

Students at St. Joseph Catholic School in Corunna were happy to have recently received a donation of water bottles and fresh fruit, courtesy of Shell Sarnia Manufacturing.  The donation coincided with the school’s annual Terry Fox Run.

This year, Shell Sarnia Manufacturing Centre’s refinery celebrates its 70th anniversary.  In recognition and celebration of this milestone, the company has set out to complete at least 70 random acts of kindness for the local community.

“We are grateful for Shell’s generous donation of water bottles and fresh fruit for all of our students,” says Mark Bernard, Principal of St. Joseph Catholic School, Corunna.  “Today is the perfect day for this gift of healthy snacks, as our entire school community is out walking and running in support of the Terry Fox Foundation.”

Shell provides support in a variety of forms in the communities in which it is located, including funding to not-for-profit and charitable organizations and grants to employees, who donate their time and money to community organizations.
