St. Clair Catholic Schools Participate in Annual Great Big CRUNCH!

Great Big CRUNCH is an annual observance to spotlight the importance of healthy and nutritious food.  It is held on the 3rd Thursday in October.

The event teaches students about the nutritious and delicious benefits of apples and other local foods.  The great big CRUNCH is a fun way to get students excited about healthy eating.  It’s also an opportunity for students to learn about the fall harvest and the local farmers and producers, who grow the vegetables and grains that help to feed the world.

In Chatham-Kent, Great Big CRUNCH is made possible with apples provided by the Chatham-Kent Student Nutrition Program.  The photos below are from the event at Ursuline College, which was just one of the participating Catholic schools this year.
