One Change to Board of Trustees for 2022-2026 Term

Elections were held this week for school boards and municipalities across Ontario.  At St. Clair Catholic, there is just one change to announce.

After a lifetime of service to Catholic education, Carol Bryden has stepped down from the Board.  During her 16 years as a dedicated Trustee, she also served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board.  Carol’s steadfast commitment to our students, families and staff will be missed at the Board table.  We wish her God’s abundant blessings, as she enjoys more time with family and friends.

Carol is succeeded in her role serving the constituencies of St. Clair and Dawn-Euphemia Townships and East Chatham-Kent by Jann Tooshkenig.  We look forward to welcoming Mrs. Tooshkenig to her first Regular Board Meeting on November 15, 2022.

All other members of the current Board were either re-elected or acclaimed to their positions.  We congratulate each of them and welcome them back!  The Board of Trustees for the 2022-2026 term will be as follows:

  • David Argenti – Chatham
  • Jennifer McCann – Sarnia and Point Edward
  • Mat Roop – North and Central Lambton and Lambton Shores
  • Brenda Rumble – South and West Kent
  • Jann Tooshkenig – East Kent, St. Clair Township and Dawn-Euphemia Township
  • John Van Heck – Wallaceburg & North Chatham-Kent
  • Linda Ward – Sarnia and Point Edward

The Inaugural Meeting of the new Board of Trustees will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in the Ursuline Boardroom of the Catholic Education Centre at 6:00 p.m.
