Sacred Heart Sarnia Students Support ‘Fresh Start Project’

Students at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Sarnia recently participated in the five days of giving.  Individual classrooms collected body care products, baby care items, canned goods, kids’ crafts and water bottles.

The items were donated to the Fresh Start Project: Sarnia Chapter and will be used to fill holiday hampers for local families supported by the project.

“The Advent spirit and generosity of our students, staff and families is alive and abundant at Sacred Heart Catholic School,” says Margaret DeGurse, school principal.  “Way to go 49ers!”

Special thanks to Kristi Disper, a Sacred Heart classroom teacher and organizer of the Fresh Start Project – Sarnia Chapter, who is pictured above with students.
