Lambton College in Sarnia was the venue for a First Nations Pow Wow, which was attended by students from St. Patrick’s Catholic High School and Ursuline College Chatham.

The pow wow featured dancers in full regalia, traditional drumming and singing of intertribal songs, along with native art, crafts, jewellery and food.

Participants included head drum Black River, head male dancer Talon White-Eye and head female dancer Marie Cameron.  The celebration also included a special hand drum contest.

The event was hosted by the college’s Indigenous Student Council and Indigenous Student Centre.
