Pie-In-The-Face Fundraiser at Sacred Heart Sarnia Collects $2,125 for Ronald McDonald House

A tradition of staff taking a pie in the face for charity resumed this week at Sacred Heart Catholic School.

Eleven staff members, including Principal Margaret DeGurse and Vice Principal Rob Cicchelli, sat down to a firing line of pies made with whipped cream, all in support of Ronald McDonald House charities, in memory of two beloved students.

“Ronald McDonald House provides comforting and supportive programs and services for families of seriously ill children,” says Mrs. DeGurse.  “We are pleased to return to this important fundraiser, which is also so much fun for the entire school community!”

A total of $2,125 was raised and will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House charity, which relies on the work of its volunteers and financial support from individual and corporate donations.
