During the week of November 20th, St. Clair Catholic will celebrate Kindness Week, as together our school communities stand against bullying and hatred.
Research has shown, that when we focus on kindness to decrease negative behaviour, there are many physical, social, emotional and mental health benefits, including greater self-esteem, a greater sense of inclusion, improved health and less stress. Kindness fosters a positive outlook. As a result, children have greater attention abilities, are more willing to learn, with better results at school. It is a powerful tool to nurture wellbeing in our school communities and empower our students to be their best.
Throughout the week, prayers, announcements and activities in our Catholic schools will focus on kindness.
