He is Risen! The Lord is Risen, indeed!
As people of faith, we have journeyed through the season of Lent, with fasting, prayer and almsgiving … seeking the presence of Christ in our lives and in our world.
Today, we celebrate Christ’s triumph over sin, death, darkness and despair. We rejoice that the risen Lord will renew us all once again. Our Catholic faith teaches us, through the Paschal Mystery, that through His passion, death, resurrection and ascension, Christ died to destroy our death and rose again to restore us to life!
What an awesome promise! What an amazing gift!
May God’s love fill your heart this Easter day. My prayer is that you and your family will experience the peace, forgiveness, hope, joy and love of the risen Christ, now and throughout the year.

An Easter Prayer
Christ is Risen! Alleluia, Alleluia!
O God, on this most holy of days, may the light of the Risen Christ illuminate our paths and fill our hearts, minds and spirits with the light of His eternal life.
May we live in this same gladness and grace of Easter Sunday every day and may our hearts be filled with thankfulness, as we rejoice in our salvation.
May our words and deeds – today and always – serve as reminders of the transformative power of Your love, and may we walk always in Your light and love as we bring Your Good News to all the world.
We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad!
