This past weekend, St. John Fisher Catholic School students took part in the Forest Fall Fair Art Competition. Fourteen classrooms, ranging from kindergarten to grade 8, submitted their artwork for display. The annual fair, hosted in the exhibit building, invited submissions from schools throughout the area, with entries judged by the Forest Fall Fair Board’s committee.
The theme of this year’s competition celebrated “Farms, Friends, and Fun,” providing students with the opportunity to connect with the local community while showcasing their creative talents. Each class at St. John Fisher contributed, with colourful and imaginative pieces on display throughout the fair.
“The theme of this year’s Forest Fall Fair—celebrating farms, friends, and fun—was a perfect fit for our students,” said Mrs. Thoren, a teacher at St. John Fisher. “We’re fortunate to foster these community connections and allow our students to showcase their creativity.”
Mrs. Tremblay, principal at St. John Fisher, beamed with pride over the students’ participation: “I’m incredibly proud of the hard work and creativity our students put into their artwork. The variety of pieces was truly impressive, and their dedication perfectly captures the spirit and enthusiasm of our community.”
The Forest Fall Fair continues to be a cherished event for the community, with the artwork of St. John Fisher students serving as a vibrant contribution to the celebration.
