Students and staff at Sacred Heart, Sarnia celebrated another impactful “Socktober” event, collecting over 900 pairs of new socks in their 6th annual drive. These much-needed donations will support St. Vincent De Paul’s mission to provide comfort and warmth to those in need within the community.
Led by Mrs. Shortt’s dedicated Grade 7/8 class, the drive was a testament to the 49ers’ generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
Principal Margaret DeGurse praised the school’s efforts, saying, “Socktober has become a cherished tradition at Sacred Heart, showcasing the incredible compassion and community spirit of our students. We’re so proud of everyone who came together to make a difference.”
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful effort!
