The Director’s Annual Report for 2023-2024 celebrates a year of remarkable achievements, milestones, and stories that embody the unique character of Catholic education at St. Clair Catholic. In accordance with Section 283(3) of the Education Act, the report has been presented to the Board of Trustees and the Minister of Education and will be available on the Board’s website.
The theme, “We Are Called to Love,” has been a guiding light throughout the year, inspiring students, staff, and families to live their faith through compassion, generosity, and service. The report highlights significant accomplishments, including notable progress in EQAO mathematics assessments. These results reflect the commitment of educators, the determination of students, and the resilience of school communities in bridging learning gaps and fostering success.
Among the year’s milestones are the openings of Gregory A. Hogan Catholic School in March and St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School in September. These modern, faith-filled learning spaces stand as symbols of collaboration and dedication, offering environments where students can thrive academically and spiritually.
The report also showcases the many ways St. Clair Catholic schools have answered the call to serve. Through cancer research fundraisers, food drives, and community outreach initiatives, students and staff have embraced the teaching, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” These acts of kindness exemplify the mission of Catholic education: to transform lives through faith in action.
The Director’s Annual Report is a testament to the extraordinary work of St. Clair Catholic’s community and a reaffirmation of its commitment to excellence in education and service.
