St. Patrick’s Catholic High School is excited to welcome Grade 7 and 8 students and their families to their Grade 7/8 Open House on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This is your chance to explore the largest high school in Sarnia-Lambton—a school that blends academic excellence, exceptional extracurriculars, and a vibrant community to create unparalleled opportunities for student success.
This Open House is truly open—families can explore the school at their own pace, meeting teachers, school leaders, and support staff along the way. Representatives from Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs, the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP), and community partners will be available to answer questions about academic pathways, skilled trades, and career-focused learning.
St. Pat’s offers a diverse range of courses tailored to students’ interests and goals. Unique programs in aesthetics, healthcare technology, and communications technology help students gain hands-on experience in growing fields, while an extensive lineup of in-person electives ensures that learning remains engaging and adaptable to modern interests.
From academics to athletics, St. Pat’s is uniquely positioned to help students develop their skills and passions. With a wide array of sports teams—including wrestling, swimming, track and field, basketball, soccer, and football— and state of the art athletic facilities, St. Pat’s students have the chance to compete and improve at every stage of their high school journey. The school’s size ensures that no student is left on the sidelines, with teams and training opportunities available at all grade levels.
Beyond the classroom, St. Pat’s is known for its thriving student life and deep community and parish connections. With hundreds of clubs, teams, and leadership opportunities, every student can find their place. Whether it’s through performing arts, student-led initiatives, or volunteer efforts like the annual Irish Miracle food drive, the Fighting Irish are an integral part of the Sarnia-Lambton community.
“We can’t wait to welcome our future Fighting Irish and give them a sneak peek at everything St. Pat’s has to offer,” says Principal Daniella Mancusi. “From top-tier programs to a vibrant school community, St. Pat’s is where students thrive.”
Join us on Wednesday, February 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and see for yourself why St. Pat’s is the best place to learn, grow, and succeed!
