Theatre lights dimmed, the crowd buzzed with anticipation, and then—boom!—the beat dropped. St. Clair Catholic French Immersion and Core French students from across Chatham-Kent erupted into cheers as LeFLOFRANCO took the stage at UCC on February 10, delivering an electrifying performance that had everyone dancing, singing, and fully immersed in the music.

With DJ Skorpe setting the tone, the energy in the room never wavered. From the first beat to the final note, students were on their feet, moving to the rhythm of LeFLOFRANCO’s infectious urban pop sound. The performance wasn’t just a concert—it was a full sensory experience, blending music, culture, and language into an unforgettable event.

“This was an incredible opportunity for students to engage directly with a Francophone musician and performer,” said Kelly Westman, FSL Consultant. “Seeing their faces light up as they sang along, in French, to an artist they admire was truly special. Having him perform live at UCC made it even more exciting.”

LeFLOFRANCO’s visit was made possible by a sociocultural grant from the Canadian Parents for French (CPF) and ImmersART. Thanks to these grants, the costs of both the artist and transportation were covered, ensuring this experience became a reality for the students.
