Opening night is here! St. Pat’s proudly presents Mamma Mia!, the beloved musical featuring ABBA’s greatest hits, running at the Imperial Theatre. Due to high demand, an additional performance has been added. The show runs from tonight until March 8th, 2025.

The show follows a young woman’s quest to discover her father’s identity, bringing three men from her mother’s past back to a sun-soaked Greek island. With its infectious music, heartwarming story, and high-energy dance numbers, Mamma Mia! promises a night of fun for all ages.

“This has been a dream show for so many of our students, and their passion shines through in every song and dance number,” says the show’s Director, Martina Austin. “From the first rehearsal in September, the energy has been electric. The cast has embraced every moment, bringing ABBA’s timeless hits to life with so much joy and enthusiasm.”

With a cast of 29 performers, five crew members, and an impressive 28 musical numbers, the production is a massive undertaking. Many of the students have embraced the challenge, including lead actor Matt Moss, who says, “This has been such a fun experience. Even for those of us who’ve done musicals before, Mamma Mia! is something new and exciting. Learning the choreography and music each week has been an incredible journey.”

A sold-out matinee for elementary students has already set the stage for success, and audiences are encouraged to secure their tickets before they’re gone.
