Seaway Kiwanis Supports St. Matthew’s Nutrition Program with Generous Donation

The Seaway Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton has once again demonstrated its commitment to local children, donating $1,200 to support the student nutrition program at St. Matthew Catholic School. This follows a similar donation made to Holy Trinity in December 2023, reinforcing the club’s dedication to ensuring students have access to healthy food.

“On behalf of the students and staff of St. Matthew, we extend our sincerest gratitude for the incredibly generous donation to our nutrition program,” says Principal Marc Tremblay. “This vital support ensures our students have access to the nutritious food they need to thrive, learn, and grow. We value the partnership between St. Matthew and the Kiwanis Club and appreciate their continued dedication to supporting our students.”

Don Burnard, President of the Seaway Kiwanis Club, adds, “It is our mandate to support local schools and children. We are pleased to contribute to initiatives like this, knowing that every dollar makes a difference in the lives of students. We can truly appreciate the impact of our work and are grateful for the opportunity to support St. Matthew and other schools in our community.”

The Seaway Kiwanis Club is a dedicated service organization focused on improving local communities, with a special emphasis on supporting children. Through various initiatives, including school nutrition programs, the club plays a vital role in ensuring students have the resources they need to succeed. Their ongoing generosity has made a meaningful impact in schools across Sarnia-Lambton.
