St. Pat’s Girls Curling Team Rocks the Ice at OFSAA

The St. Patrick’s girls curling team made an impressive mark at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) championship at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club from March 19-21, proudly representing St. Pat’s and the Sarnia community.

Team members Luana (Moon) Espinosa Dos Passos, Cyndi Rayson, Sophia Carreiro, Grace Antosiak, Vanessa Skillas, and Ava McClinton displayed incredible skill and teamwork throughout the competition. Their performance was nothing short of outstanding, and they gave it their all against some of the province’s best.

Coach Madeleine Dubois couldn’t be prouder: “Watching these athletes compete at OFSAA was truly special. They poured their hearts into every game, and the pride they showed for their school and community was inspiring. They truly represented St. Pat’s with excellence.”

Coach Tori Lambe echoed the sentiment: “This team is a true example of dedication and teamwork. They handled every challenge with determination and grace, and I’m so proud of the way they represented St. Pat’s and Sarnia on the provincial stage.”

While they finished with a 1-3 record, their journey at OFSAA is a testament to their talent and commitment. The team’s incredible performance on home ice will be remembered, and they’ve certainly set the bar high for future St. Pat’s curling teams.
