For generations, Sacred Heart Catholic School has been a cherished part of the Sarnia community. Before students and staff move into their new and improved building this fall, St. Clair Catholic invites alumni, families, and friends to a special Open House and School Closing Celebration.

When: Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Where: Sacred Heart, Sarnia (1411 Lecaron Ave)
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the school and neighbourhood community to gather in celebration and commemoration of the years spent in this beloved school home,” says Lisa Demers, Director of Education. “Sacred Heart has played such an important role in the lives of students, families, and staff, and we look forward to celebrating that legacy together.”
Guests will enjoy light refreshments, cake, and the chance to walk the halls one last time, reminiscing about their time at Sacred Heart. To help bring the school’s history to life, the community is invited to share memorabilia—such as photographs, jerseys, spirit wear, or newspaper articles—to be included in the celebration.
“The Sacred Heart 49ers are so excited to welcome our neighbours and friends for this special evening,” says Principal Tina Jarvis. “We encourage everyone to share their memories with us as we celebrate our school’s rich history and bright future!”
