The stage of the Imperial Theatre came alive on April 11 as Pathways Sarnia marked a remarkable milestone—50 years of supporting youth in our community—through its annual Celebrate show. This year’s performance was especially meaningful, highlighting five decades of impact with a vibrant, expressive showcase of movement, music, and joy.
Clients aged 8 to 21 took part in the performance, sharing their talents through an expressive arts program led by Pathways staff and volunteers. The show was bursting with colour, rhythm, and energy, celebrating not only individual creativity but also the power of inclusion and belonging.
Among the performers and organizers were several St. Clair Catholic students and staff, who brought their unique talents to the stage and helped create an unforgettable experience. Their participation is a powerful reminder of the value of inclusive education and the transformative role of the arts in student growth and connection.

“This performance is a testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved,” said Stephanie Orrange, Principal of Special Education. “Putting on a show of this scale takes tremendous effort, and it beautifully reflects the talent, teamwork, and passion that make Pathways so special. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate 50 years of Pathways and the incredible impact it has had on our community.”
As in previous years, a special school matinee invited students from across St. Clair Catholic to attend as a class trip. The audience responded with laughter, cheers, and standing ovations, joining in the celebration of ability, expression, and community.

“Sharing this show with St. Clair Catholic students during the school matinee is something truly special,” said Jen Brown-Nead, director and creator of the show “There’s such an incredible energy when the students in the audience respond with excitement and encouragement—it becomes a full-circle moment of celebration for everyone.”
The show continues to be a beloved tradition that brings people together through creativity and compassion. This year’s anniversary edition served as a powerful tribute to the past, present, and future of Pathways Sarnia.
