Holy Family Catholic School’s gymnasium was filled with music, joy, and community spirit as students took the stage for their annual Spring Concert, held during Catholic Education Week. Led by music teacher Jen Trinca, the concert featured a “Songs from the Movies” theme and showcased beautiful choral pieces, heartfelt solos, and impressive violin performances by students of all ages.
The event was a culmination of months of dedication and practice, offering students a chance to shine and families a chance to celebrate their children’s musical growth.
“Our students have grown so much this year—in their skills, their confidence, and their love of music,” said Mrs. Trinca. “Their performance was absolutely wonderful. I’m so proud of each and every one of them.”

The audience included students, staff, and proud family members who packed the gym in support of the young musicians. One performer, Manny, shared his appreciation for his music education at Holy Family and for Mrs. Trinca’s guidance, saying he is excited for what’s ahead as he prepares for high school at UCC.
Principal Colleen Cogghe expressed her joy in seeing the school community come together for such a special occasion. “It’s always a beautiful day when we can gather in song,” she said. “Our students were captivated by their peers’ performances, and I couldn’t be more excited for these young musicians as they continue to grow.”
The Spring Concert was a joyful reminder of the power of music to bring people together and a celebration of the talent, hard work, and heart of Holy Family’s student performers.
