Kaleidoscope of Arts Lights Up UCC with Creativity and Talent

An evening of colour, creativity, and student talent lit up Ursuline College on May 29th as the school hosted its 4th Annual Kaleidoscope of Arts Open House.

With more than 300 guests in attendance, the event transformed the school into a gallery, stage, and concert hall all at once. From live music echoing through the halls, to dramatic monologues and stunning visual art installations, Kaleidoscope of Arts celebrated the depth and diversity of UCC’s Arts program.

Each corner of the school told a different story—Grade 9 students proudly displayed their first sketches, senior artists presented bold and thoughtful mixed media works, while performers took the stage to bring theatre and music to life with passion and precision. The evening was entirely student-driven, with performances and exhibits curated to reflect the range of artistic learning taking place every day in UCC’s classrooms.

“Kaleidoscope of Arts is a true celebration of student voice and creativity,” said Principal Lisa Harnarine. “It’s beautiful to witness these moments—when we gather as a community to honour the incredible work of our young artists. Events like this remind us how important it is to make space for the arts, and to recognize excellence in all its forms.”

Now in its fourth year, the Kaleidoscope of Arts has become a beloved tradition at UCC—a joyful evening that brings together families, educators, and students in celebration of imagination, expression, and the power of the arts to connect and inspire.
