Terry Fox Foundation Recognizes St. Anne Sarnia Student Named 2025 School Run Ambassador

Leah March, a Grade 6 student from St. Anne Catholic School in Sarnia, was named Terry Fox School Run Ambassador for 2025.  Leah is a cancer survivor, who at age six was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, the same type of cancer that Terry Fox had.  As ambassador, Leah’s photo and survivor story were displayed in 10,000 schools across Canada.

Her story was featured in a CBC Kids article and on Breakfast TV.

The school was also presented with a 30-year banner for its lengthy record of participation.
