St. Clair Catholic Schools Celebrate Bus Driver Appreciation Day

Each year, School Bus Driver Appreciation Day is celebrated in October.  This nationally recognized observance is an opportunity for students, parents and school staff to express their thanks for the important work of these dedicated women and men.

“Each year on Bus Driver Appreciation Day, our schools pause to show their tremendous support and gratitude for the people who get our students to and from school safely every day,” says Lisa Demers, Director of Education.

National Bus Safety Week, a public education campaign that is observed throughout North America, also falls annually in October.  The theme for the 2025 campaign is Safe Ride, Everyday Heroes.

Chatham-Kent Lambton Administrative School Services (CLASS) is a consortium which provides bus transportation each day to more than 17,000 students of the St. Clair Catholic and Lambton Kent district school boards across Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent.
