Advent Prayer: Anchored in Hope 2025

Loving God,

As we enter this holy season of Advent,

we turn our hearts toward the light of Your coming.

In a world that often feels uncertain,

You call us to be anchored in hope – hope that steadies us, hope that guides us,

hope that is found in Christ alone.

Lord Jesus,

You are the anchor in every storm, the promise that never fails,

the light that shines in our waiting.

Strengthen our faith as we prepare to celebrate Your birth.

Teach us to trust in Your presence, to share Your peace with one another,

and to carry Your love into our schools, homes and communities.

Holy Spirit,

Fill us with courage to live as people of hope.

May our words bring encouragement, our actions reflect compassion,

and our hearts remain open to the joy of Emmanuel – God with us.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, who is our anchor and our hope, forever and ever.
