Ursuline College Chatham is thrilled to announce its inaugural Gala of Hope, a plated Dinner Gala taking place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at UCC, 85 Grand Ave W., Chatham.
This elegant evening will showcase a three-course plated dinner crafted and served by talented local chefs and UCC hospitality students, celebrating culinary excellence and community spirit.
“The Gala of Hope is a wonderful example of what makes the Ursuline College Chatham community so special,” said Principal Lisa Harnarine. “This evening not only highlights the incredible talents of our students and staff but also brings our community together in support of meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities. We are grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm that will help enhance our hospitality program and inspire our students for years to come.”
Guests will be welcomed at 5:00 PM with live music by the UCC staff band, followed by hors d’oeuvres and instrumental performances by staff and students.
Dinner is served at 6:00 PM, featuring:
• Caldo Verde soup
• A choice of:
· Statler chicken breast stuffed with spinach and mozzarella
· Maple bourbon braised short ribs
· Vegetarian stuffed peppers
• Served with garlic red-skinned mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables
• Followed by an assortment of fresh desserts, coffee, and tea
A silent auction will run from 5:30 to 7:30 PM (cash or cheque only), offering exciting items to bid on while supporting a great cause.
