Performances will run April 29 to May 2, 2026, with curtain time at 7:00 p.m. each evening in the UCC Theatre, located at 85 Grand Avenue, Chatham.
Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved tale, The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful story of love, courage, and finding one’s voice. Audiences will be swept away into a magical underwater world filled with heart, humour, and unforgettable moments.
The production stars Leah Jackson as Ariel, Alex Monette as Prince Eric, and Francesca Foex as Ursula, the sea witch, alongside a large and talented cast of UCC student performers. The show also features spectacular music performed by the UCC Orchestra, with music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a compelling book by Doug Wright. Fan-favourite songs such as “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl,” and “Part of Your World” are sure to delight audiences of all ages.
